Lower Key Stage 2

Welcome to Lower Key Stage 2. The Year 3/4 staff are: Mrs Herd, Mrs McCready, Mrs Crame and Mrs Hornsey (teachers) and Mrs Walker and Mrs Moses (teaching assistants). In Year 3/4 we enjoy exploring different topics such as Inventors, the Anglo Saxons and Vikings, and an in depth study of our local area.  The children are encouraged to lead their own learning and we aim to bring the topics to life through ‘hands on’ experiences.  Our cross curricular learning is enhanced by visits and gives us the opportunity to apply our skills and knowledge in different areas. We really enjoy the wide range of sporting opportunities provided by Mrs Moses and Mrs Walker through the Sports Partnership and have many after school clubs on offer.  We also benefit from swimming lessons at Redcar Leisure Centre.
