Dear Parents, Carers and Friends

As Head Teacher of Zetland Primary can I wish you a very warm welcome to our school website. The website is designed to keep you informed and up to date with the latest school information.

We feel very lucky to have such wonderful children who show a motivated, enthusiastic approach to school life, reflected by the fantastic achievements they make. At Zetland we have a great team of dedicated staff, supportive parents and governors as well as a committed fundraising group called “Friends of Zetland”.

Ofsted (February 2014) found that Zetland is a school where “Everybody matters and everybody cares.” This is something we are very proud of as it captures the ethos and aims of our school. We aim to foster and encourage talent, valuing individual achievement, equal opportunity and personal development, allowing each child to reach their full potential both academically and as well rounded young people within a supportive, engaging and ambitious teaching and learning environment. We work in partnership with all parents and carers in order to ensure that your child’s needs are met and we value the excellent support the wider community provides to school.

Please feel free to explore our site and we hope we have managed to give you a glimpse of life at school!

Yours sincerely
