Classroom Teacher – Part-time

Position:                Part-time Classroom Teacher

Salary:                   Teachers Main Pay Scale (M1-M6)

Working Hours:    0.4 FTE – 2 Days per week (13 hours per week – days to be confirmed) 

Contract:               Temporary until 03.07.2026

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher to join our successful ‘Good’ Primary School.

The post is a part-time classroom teacher role as part of a job-share with another member of staff (temporary for 1 year).  

The successful applicant will join and enjoy the support of our whole school team, which is committed to high expectations and standards for all children in our caring and vibrant school.  

This post would be suitable for newly qualified teachers or more experienced teachers. 

The teaching position could be within any key stage, subject to the successful applicant’s strengths, interests, and experiences. Please outline your strengths and interests in your application, as well as any extracurricular activities that you could offer.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment, and an enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought, along with other relevant employment checks.

Salary:                     Teachers Main Scale Pay (M1-M6) –    £31,650 – £43,607 per annum

Working Hours:       Full time – 32.5 hours per week

Contract:               Fixed Term Contract until 31.08.2026
