At Zetland Primary school the children in KS2 are taught lessons in French. Children are encouraged to do this practically, through games and conversations with their peers, and also following a well structured scheme which gradually introduces new vocabulary in context. Prior knowledge is built upon year after year, with opportunities to revisit to improve fluency.
