Job Advert

Zetland Primary School is looking to appoint a friendly, reliable and caring Lunchtime Supervisor to join our welcoming school team.

No previous experience is required for this role as full training will be provided on the job. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important role in creating a safe, happy and positive lunchtime experience.

Start Date – As soon as possible

Hours:

  • 5 hours per week
  • Term time only

Grade and Pay:

  • Grade A, SCP 2
  • £12.65 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, including in the dining hall and playground
  • Support children to play safely, positively and cooperatively
  • Help maintain good behaviour and encourage positive relationships
  • Assist with minor issues such as spills or disagreements (training provided)
  • Always ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils
  • Communicate concerns to the appropriate member of staff

This role would suit someone who is approachable, patient and enjoys working as part of a team.
